Delayed start/Weather Alert

January 25, 2026

Due to the bad weather, SHSUD will have a delayed start tomorrow Monday Jan.26,2026 . Our offices will open at 10 am.

With freezing temperatures expected to continue, we recommend that SHSUD customers take precautions to protect their homes and prevent water leaks. Some tips include covering your outside pipes, dripping inside faucets slowly and opening cabinets to allow warm air to reach your plumbing. We would like to remind SHSUD customers that they're responsible for the water service line from the meter to their household  and inside plumbing. SHSUD crews are ready to respond to emergencies. Please contact our office at 830-379-7683 if you need assistance. Please stay safe and warm, thank you.
